      How do your treatments work?

We offer medically approved injectable treatments including Mounjaro (Tirzepatide), Saxenda (Liraglutide) and Wegovy (Semaglutide). These work by reducing appetite, helping you feel full for longer and curbing cravings. With reduced hunger, it’s easier to stick to healthy eating habits. All of the above are supported by expert pharmacist care.

Are your weight loss treatments safe?

All of the medications we prescribe are generally safe when used as directed. However, like any medication, they can have side effects. The most common side effects of Saxenda and Ozempic are nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. The most common side effect of orlistat is oily stools.

What are the potential side effects of treatments?

The most common side effects include nausea, digestive discomfort (such as diarrhoea or constipation), or mild headaches. These usually settle as your body adjusts. Our pharmacist will discuss potential side effects and how to manage them during your consultation.

Can I get weight loss treatment on the NHS?

Criteria for NHS treatment includes a BMI of 40+ (or 37.5+ for people from South Asian, Chinese, other Asian, Middle Eastern, Black African or African-Caribbean ethnic backgrounds and have at least four of the following weight-related problems:

          • Type 2 diabetes.
          • High blood pressure (hypertension).
          • High cholesterol or abnormal fat levels in your blood (dyslipidaemia).
          • Obstructive sleep apnoea.
          • Established cardiovascular disease (heart disease).

How often do I need to receive treatment?

Saxenda is a daily injection, while Mounjaro and Wegovy are taken once a week. We provide full instructions and ongoing support to ensure you’re confident with your treatment routine.

Can weight loss methods be combined?

Yes, weight loss treatments can be combined with other weight loss methods, such as diet and exercise. In fact, this approach is a most effective way to lose weight and keep it off.

How long does it take to see results?

Most patients notice early changes within 4–6 weeks, but significant results can take longer depending on your body and treatment plan. We support you every step of the way with regular check-ins and advice.

Are your treatments suitable for everyone?

Weight loss treatments are not suitable for everyone. If you have any underlying health conditions, you should talk to your doctor before starting any weight loss treatment.

How much do weight loss treatments cost?

Private consultations are free, you only pay for the medication. Prices vary depending on the treatment and dose, which we’ll explain in full. If you qualify for NHS treatment (through your GP), you may be exempt from NHS prescription charges.

Is there evidence that your treatments work?

Yes, treatments like Saxenda, Mounjaro, and Wegovy are supported by clinical research showing significant weight loss results when combined with lifestyle changes. Many patients lose 10–25% of their body weight over time, depending on the treatment.

      Are all appointments in person?

Your initial consultation and monthly reviews are always in person to ensure safe, effective care. We also offer remote support, including phone or WhatsApp check-ins, for your convenience between appointments.

      Do I qualify for treatment?

We assess eligibility based on your BMI and overall health. As a guide, private treatment may be available if your BMI is 30 or higher, or 26+ if you have weight-related health concerns. Use our BMI calculator or visit us for help.

      I have more questions.

That’s completely normal. You can contact us anytime or book a free consultation with our pharmacist, who will answer your questions and help you decide if treatment is right for you, with no obligation.
